Miniature Manors have added a contemporary garden pod to their range of options. Sitting on a footprint of 2.5m x 2.9m, it is a great size, perfect for a range of uses. In these photos, we can see the owner has set their pod up as a stylish home office, but the light-filled room would work equally well as an art studio or exercise space.
We like the cubist form of the pod and how well it sits within an established garden without dominating the space.
The glazing has been focused on the front elevation with a single glazed door and a top-hung opening window positioned at desk height. This combination has created a naturally light room.
Miniature Manors garden rooms are multi-layer build-ups with an insulated timber frame at the core. Externally, durable tongue & groove cladding is mixed with uPVC doors and an EPDM roof covering. This combination offers a long low maintenance lifespan.
Most garden pods of this size have panelled interior finishes, such as white Melamine or MDF. Miniature Manors, however, have opted for a higher-spec interior finish. The walls have been plastered and decorated, and a laminate floor laid and trimmed with skirting boards, creating a room akin to a new build house.
Miniature Manors clients decided to turn one of the walls into a feature wall. The blue finish draws your eye down the room and makes the space seem bigger, a clever choice!
From groundworks to the final electrical connection
Miniature Manors supply their garden pods on a turnkey basis. They are handling all the work, from installing the foundation right through to connecting the pod's electrics to the mains supply in your house. So, you can just sit back and watch your new room take shape.
Miniature Manors handcrafts their garden pods in approximately 7 to 9 days onsite. Although Miniature Manors are usually booked up three to four months in advance, they can often slot in Office Pod builds into their schedule depending upon their location. Miniature Manors work in the following counties: East Sussex, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex.
