The 7m x 3m Sanctuary by Crusoe Garden Rooms is ideal for those looking for a wide, but not too deep garden room. The arrangement of floor to ceiling glazing allows you to frame different views of your garden.
Crusoe Garden Rooms have recently completed this example of their Sanctuary range in Nottinghamshire. Built on a traditional timber frame core with insulation fitted between the studs, the room is designed for year round use.
Externally the building is clad in Western Red Cedar which as you can see from these images has a real richness of colour, you have to remember that this will change colour as it ages, but it looks great then too, albeit different.
The doors and windows are house quality uPVC in a slate grey finish. They are double glazed and have multi-point locking systems. We like the arrangement of the large sliding door set in the middle and narrower fixed panes alongside. Similar fixed pane windows are positioned on the side walls, creating a wrap-around view of the garden.
Internally the Sanctuary range has the feel of a room in a new house with plastered and decorated walls and ceiling mixed with a laminate wood floor. The owners of this building chose to have underfloor heating fitted for even, easy to control warmth.
The list price for this 7m x 3m garden room is £19,450 including VAT. With the addition of the underfloor heating and the Crusoe team organising the base the room sits on the build came in just over the £20,000 mark.
