We'd like to introduce you to the work of CS Garden Offices, a Hampshire based company who offer a nationwide service. They have developed a modular building system which means their rooms can be built, and if need be, dismantled in a day. Thanks to the combination of materials used, the buildings are also maintenance free.

CS Garden Offices have developed their range to make use of steel faced SIP's panels. The galvanised steel layers which are plastisol coated form both the interior and exterior finishes. This means the walls are relatively thin, which increases the floor space within the room compared with other constructions systems.
The exterior face of the panel is available in a wide choice of colours. These can be colour matched with the finish of the doors and windows. Internally the walls and ceiling are finished in bright white. The plastisol-coated surface is easy to keep clean and is, in fact, certified food safe. The roof structure is a 75mm thick insulated steel panel, with a white finish internally and a coloured surface externally. On large roofs, 100mm or 125mm roof panels will be used.
The modular nature of the CS Garden Office range means that the building can easily be configured to meet your needs. Allowing you to mix solid wall panels with window or door modules. The panels have a clever interlocking system, which means should you need to move your garden room in the future. The panels can be unlocked and dismantled within hours.
When it comes to the foundation for the garden room. The CS Garden Offices team prefer a flat and level concrete base. Their modular floor system can be used with other foundation systems too. These photos show how the modular panels slot together to create the floor.
CS Garden Offices are wired for power and light. As standard, a garden room would come with 5 double sockets. Two of which have USB charging points. LED lights and a consumer unit. The majority of the electrics are housed in a skirting level trunking system. The cabling for the light switches run inside the wall panels prior to foam being injected. There is a cheaper option for the cabling conduit to be mounted on the face of the walls. The CS Garden Offices team can quote for the final electrical connection to the house, alternatively, you can ask a local electrician to undertake this task.
CS Garden Offices are available nationwide. Lead time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks from placement of the order. On-site build times are normally limited to one day, increasing to two days on larger or complex layouts.
