Back in 2013, the Sanctum Garden Studios built one of their Contemporary Range garden studios in London for a lady who was going to use the building as a potter’s studio. The studio was built on a site which was accessed by a long flight of steps, the modular building system that Sanctum Garden Studios use really came into its own on this project!
Earlier this year Janene, the customer moved 8 hours north to Loch Torridon and having found her first studio so useful, she contacted the Sanctum Garden Studios team to ask them to build a second studio for them.
Janene’s new garden has the most fantastic view of the Loch, and she and the Sanctum team designed and positioned the studio so that it maximised its location.
This garden studio is again from Sanctum’s Contemporary Range, with their cubed roof design detail. It sits on a sizeable 4.8 meter x 3-meter footprint; this is quite a bit bigger than the 3m x 2.6m Janene had in her North London garden.
The studio has a set of French doors on the front elevation which is extended by glazed side lights. A 1.5 meter, fixed pane window has been positioned on the rear wall to frame the splendid view.
