Opening the email from Garden Spaces with the photos of this garden room project caught our breath, its one of the most tailor made garden room designs we’ve seen!
Garden Spaces we’re tasked by their client in Newquay, Cornwall to create a building on the side of the cliff that maximised the stunning views – and what a view!
The site would have put some garden room designers off, even before you start thinking about the engineering involved you have to negotiate 180 steps down to the site, but not Garden Spaces.
The design is based on Garden Spaces Elegans range of garden rooms, but clearly tailored to the customers site. As well as the insulated garden room, a sheltered outdoor seating space has also been created – Garden Spaces showcased this combination of indoor / outdoor spaces at Grand Designs Live.
This build is full of fine details such as the narrow window on the corner of the room so theres no interruption of the view, and the green roof which helps the building blend into its surroundings.
This is an exceptional example of how bespoke garden room design can tailor a building to a site and the needs and tastes of the client.
