This Booths Garden Studio just slots into the customers established garden and looks like it was always meant to be.
The customer wanted a space that she could use as an artists studio. She choose a 4550mm x 2730mm (15ft x 9ft) building which is a good size in itself and extended the living space further by adding a 1820mm (6ft) deck area with a 910mm (3ft) fly-over roof, which creates a sheltered seating area.
These images show how Booths can overcome a sloping site with their design. As you can see the site slopes to the right. The Booths team have boxed in underneath the deck and incorporated a couple of steps, which is both practical and neat.
The customer chose to incorporate recessed blinds along the front glazed elevation which will allow her to control the light and her privacy. She also opted for a small fanlight window on the rear elevation for both extra light and ventilation.
