Norwegian Log offers a versatile range of luxury log cabin buildings. We recently featured a project where one of their bespoke designs was being used as a self-contained annexe for a retired couple. Today, we are excited to share details of a project where three bespoke log cabins are being used as luxury holiday lodges.
Cambridgeshire luxury holiday lodges
Norwegian Log was commissioned by the Alexander Family who farm just outside Cambridge to design three luxury holiday lodges on a redundant part of their land. They had planning permission in place and had already started on the site preparation when they started to work with the Norwegian Log team.
Having conducted extensive research, the family chose to work with Norwegian Log because of the quality of their cabins and their competitive pricing. They also found the Norwegian Log team the most flexible when it came to tailoring the design to their specific needs.
Customised to the customer's needs
With the cabins enjoying both waterside and countryside views, the customers wanted to incorporate longer windows to maximise the view. They also wanted a larger open plan kitchen and living space than standard.
Take a tour of the lodges
The three bespoke cabins feature two super king-sized bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. The open plan living space features a log burner for cosy evenings and a large deck with hot tub for relaxing outside.
A pontoon is planned from the cabins leading into a natural swimming pool.
Work started on the three lodges in March, and they were fully completed in May. The Norwegian Log team project managed the build, and it was a hands-off process for the customers.
