Our hobbies can take up a lot of space in our homes. The solution is to create a dedicated hobby room in the garden. A highly insulated garden room would allow you to work on your craft when you want, without the need to tidy things away when you finish.
eDEN Garden Rooms designed and built this Cedar hobby room for a client who wanted to free up space in their house. Their weaving hobby was turning into a successful business, so they looked to the space in their garden to create a dedicated workroom.
A quick look at this 4m x 3m Cedar hobby room:
The 4m x 3m garden room is flooded with natural light thanks to the corner of glazing created by mixing a set of sliding doors with a full-height narrow window.
The dark grey doors and windows look super against the Western Red Cedar cladding. The roof canopy has also been detailed with the grey trim. The deep canopy features external grade LED downlights which will light the entrance into the workroom.
Light modern interior
eDEN Garden Rooms finish the interior of their garden rooms with a high-spec plastered and decorated interior. LED downlights have been recessed into the ceiling and will cast good working light around the room, an important consideration.
eDEN's customer is delighted with her new workroom and the harmony it is creating between her business and home life.
