Crusoe Garden Rooms offer a number of designs for customers to choose from, but these are just starting points, with the ability to tailor the design to your site and intended use.
This was the case with Crusoe’s London based customer who chose the Compact Range as a starting point for his building.
There was no outside access to the garden of this London home, so Crusoe modified how they delivered the materials to site so they could all be taken through the customers house!
The room is going to be used as a drum studio, and so as not to disturb the neighbours extra insulation and soundproofing was ‘designed in’.
True to its name, at 3m x 2.4m this is a compact garden room design. The walls are a substantial 130mm thick, the whole structure is highly insulated and the interior finished like a traditional room with plaster board and a skim finish.
Externally the room is clad in Western Red Cedar, which offers both an attractive finish and a long maintenance free lifespan. The cladding contrasts well with the grey UPVC sliding doors.
The roof is a one piece rubber membrane which again is known for its durability and long lifespan. Rainwater runoff is controlled by a black guttering system.
The base price for this size of garden room from the Compact Range is £7,950 which is very competitive for a cedar clad garden room. You can view a full listing for the Compact Range on eBay.
