Suppose you are looking for a garden room with a decked veranda detail, a roof canopy with lighting incorporated along the front elevation. In that case, check out the Windermere range by Bridge Garden Rooms.
Bridge Garden Rooms offer one of the widest ranges of garden room styles, including both flat roof and pitched roof designs. Each range incorporates a different combination of popular design features.
What is nice about these different style options is that each range can be customised depending on your design choices and ideal layout.
The standard layout for the Windermere range features French doors flanked by long windows on either side of the front elevation.
During your design consultation, the Bridge team will work with you to configure the ideal layout for you. This can be seen in the images of this recent Windermere project.
As we can see, the owners have chosen to swap the French doors for bi-fold doors, which have been positioned off-centre. The long windows have also been changed for an opening window set at desk height on the right-hand elevation. Looking at the photos, this window must frame an impressive view across the fields.
The bi-fold doors will fold to one side, offering easy movement from within the insulated room out onto the decked veranda.
Adding a covered veranda area is a very popular feature in garden room design. It can create a welcoming connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The veranda area, or step as some people call it, lends itself to a planted pot or chair for enjoying the weather.
The Windermere range has a 600mm decked veranda with the roof canopy extending out by the same amount. The roof canopy has exterior-grade LED lights fitted within it. These lights create a lovely light curtain down the front of the garden room.
All Bridge Garden Rooms are constructed using structural insulated panels - SIP's. These panels create a highly insulated core structure, forming the basis of Bridge Garden Rooms' multi-layer build-up.
You can choose from a range of finishes for the exterior of your Bridge Garden Room. There are several timber options and low-maintenance composite claddings as well.
Inside, Bridge Garden Rooms have a plastered and decorated finish, creating a room akin to that in a new build house. All rooms are electrically wired, so they can be used for a variety of uses.
