This garden gym suite by AMC Garden Rooms is a bit special. Most of the garden gym projects we showcase are one room, sometimes with the addition of a shower room. This project, however, is four rooms and a covered space outside where there is a hot tub.
The bespoke layout has created a wonderful exercise and relaxation space for the owners.
The AMC Garden Rooms designers worked closely with their clients to create their ideal layout. The gym suite sits on a footprint 9m wide by 4.2m deep. The main gym space is flooded with natural light thanks to the mix of French doors, a 2m wide, full-height window on the front elevation, and a further tall window on the side wall.
Full-height mirrors have been positioned on the rear wall of the gym, which makes the room feel even more spacious. The plastered and decorated interior has been finished with an Oak floor, internal doors and trims.
Leading off the gym room is a storage cupboard for different bits of gym equipment. Another door leads into a good-sized room that will be used as a lounge. Its corner position with glazing on two elevations offers a great connection with the garden beyond.
French doors lead off the lounge into a covered seating area where there is a hot tub and space for outdoor living. As we can see in this photo, the Cedar canopy has been detailed beautifully.
There is a door leading into a changing room from the hot tub area, meaning users of the hot tub don't have to walk up to the main house to get dry and changed.
