This contemporary garden room by Dab Den has been designed for relaxing and entertaining. Based on Dab Den’s Signature Range, the building comprises of two rooms, a 6m x 4m sitting room and 5m x 4m open-fronted room that houses a hot tub.
Built using a highly insulated SIP’s panel system, the building has been clad externally in Siberian Larch. Siberian Larch is a popular alternative to Western Red Cedar offering similar natural durability. Like Cedar, left unprotected, it will weather to a silver grey colour. We like how the Dab Den team have also used the Larch on the interior walls of the hot tub room.
Dark grey powder coated aluminium bi-fold doors have been fitted on the main room. As you can see, they fold back opening up the whole front wall, allowing the party to spill out on to the deck and garden beyond.
Composite decking has been fitted around the garden room. Composite decking like this will retain it’s colour without maintenance and won’t become slippery like wooden decking, so can be a wise, long-term choice.
