Some people fear that their site is too difficult to contemplate a garden room, but this needn’t be the case as the modular nature of garden room construction lends itself to overcoming site issues.
Sanctum Garden Studios were recently presented with one of the trickiest sites they have encountered. Not only was the access beside the house narrow the garden was steeply sloping, and on top of this the build was undertaken in heavy rain!
The building which is going to be used as a ceramics studio is 3 meters x 2.6m so at roughly the size of a single bedroom it is ideal for this sort of use.
The studio is taken from Sanctum Garden Studios Contemporary Range, but the customer decided on weatherboard cladding rather than the standard cedar tongue & groove cladding.
Here is what the customer had to say about the building on Houzz who did an article:
Sanctum made and built a garden studio for my ceramics work. The studio was built by Gary exactly to specification and to a very high standard. Access to the site was not easy because the path had not been built but Gary managed to do the whole thing in the rain with no complaints whatsoever. Sam made the purchase administration behind the scenes seamless. I would not hesitate to recommend Sanctum to any future clients.
