If you have read any of our articles looking at soundproof garden studio projects, you will have heard us say that the acoustic specification varies significantly between companies. Some companies just add a layer of acoustic plasterboard, while others incorporate many different layers.
This short video by Ark Design/Build is interesting in that it shows the different layers they included in a recent garden music room project.
You will see specialist layers including soundproof membranes and resilient bars which help dampen the transmission of noise through the structure. A full article is on its way, but we wanted to get on and share this video.
