Detached extensions offer a great deal of flexibility when it comes to styling, as both classical and ultra-modern design can work well in these types of extension, regardless of the style of the property.
Lots of homeowners choose a room that reflects their individual tastes and is as bold and as creative as they are! However, as a slight note of caution, think about the intended use of the room before being too creative as this can often dictate specific requirements. For example, a room that is intended as a social space may benefit from a higher amount of glazing so that it is possible to enjoy views of the garden. In contrast, an office may require glazing layout to be design so that desk and workspace is not affected by any glare from the sun.
