Timeless Garden Rooms have recently completed this New England style garden office.
The customer is American so loved the idea of the Vermont range of buildings that Timeless Garden Rooms offer. The Vermont range is full of traditional charm with painted pine featheredge weatherboarding, cedar shingle roof and cottage style windows. We like the finishing details of this garden office such as the decorative barge boards, the finials on the roof and the entrance porch.
As you can see from this photo the vaulted ceiling created by the pitched roof creates a room with a light and airy feel.
The customers went for Timeless Garden Rooms standard specification but they asked for the highest possible standard of insulation, which the Timeless team incorporated into the floor, walls and roof. This insulation was coupled with double glazing in the door and windows. Nick Collins of Timeless Garden Rooms comments:
I know it’s my product, but I can tell you it is pretty cosy and warm inside!
The building is to be used as a garden office, but the owners wanted it to be a space that could have other uses such as an extra room when relatives visit and as an entertaining space.
