Redwood-clad garden gym & store

This 6m x 3.5m garden room is an example of the Windsor range by Hargreaves Garden Spaces. The footprint has been divided to create two rooms, a home gym and a storage room.
The exterior of the building has been clad in Scandinavian Redwood. The cladding has been carefully detailed to accentuate the deep wing detail that supports the roof canopy.

6m x 3.5m home gym & storage shed
This example of the Windsor range sits on a footprint of 6m wide by 3.5m deep. The building has been divided into two rooms. The main room, which will be used as a fitness and family space, is accessed through a wide set of sliding doors. The uPVC sliding doors are finished in the popular Anthracite Grey colour.
This main room has a high-spec plastered and decorated interior. Mixed with laminate flooring, this finish creates a room akin to that in a new build house.
The storage room is accessed via a Redwood-clad door, which blends into the wall very discreetly.
Scandinavian Redwood is a popular choice for garden rooms. It is one of the more cost-effective exterior cladding options you have. As we can see, Scandinavian Redwood has a rich honey colouring and distinctive natural grain pattern.
Deep canopy detail and composite decked veranda
This design has a deeper canopy detail running along the front elevation than the examples we linked to above. As we can see, this deeper version creates enough space to create a sheltered spot for a table and chairs.
The tapered wing detail adds a lot of character to the front of the garden room.
A light grey composite decked veranda completes the project.
Complete building, including the final electrical connection
Hargreaves Garden Spaces handled the whole project for their clients. This included the final electrical connection between the garden room and the house. Many other companies ask you to organise this connection with a local electrician.
