Multi-layer Build-up
Each design from Rockwood Garden Studios features a multi-layer build-up. The floor structure uses steel insulated panels that sit on concrete pile foundations, ensuring no timber is in contact with the ground to avoid susceptibility to rot.
The insulated timber wall framework provides a strong core structure. Externally, as standard, it is finished with natural stone cladding on two elevations and metal cladding on the other two elevations. You can choose the type and colour of the stone. As these images show, the finishes include contemporary slate finishes and traditional stone finishes.
The roof is a steel insulated panel system finished with colour-matched metal trims that complement the door and window frames. Rockwood Garden Studios offers both uPVC and aluminium doors and windows.
Inside, Rockwood Garden Studios finishes their buildings to a high standard, with plastered and decorated finishes, creating a room as you would find in a newly built house. Unlike many competitors, Rockwood Garden Studios fits a layer of OSB under the plasterboard. This allows owners to put up shelves, mount a TV, etc., knowing that the plasterboard will support them.
