Alongside their garden rooms, Booths Garden Studios also offer self-contained living annexes. We have featured several of their annexes over the years. We were, therefore, interested to hear that they have recently added a 5.5m x 5.8m garden studio apartment to their options.

Planning permission not required
Booths Garden Studios have designed this garden studio flat to comply with the Caravan Act. So, as long as it is a relative living in the annexe, it can be installed without planning permission.
Many think garden living annexes are just for older relatives, but they are also an excellent option for younger relatives too. This new Booths Garden Studios design would make a great home for a son or daughter looking to save money to get on the property ladder.
Portable, so the annexe has a resale value

Flexible open-plan layout
We like how Booths Garden Studios have created an open-plan layout for this annexe. The kitchen and shower room sit on one side of the room. The rest of the space is flexible for your own arrangement of furniture.
In their display annexe, Booths Garden Studios have created a seating area at the front of the annexe. They have placed the bed and storage at the rear.
As we can see in these photos and in the video, being open plan, the annexe has a light, spacious feel. The wide section of floor-to-ceiling glazing on the front elevation enhances this feeling.
