Smart Modular Buildings have been teasing us for weeks about their new range of garden room, and we have to say we’re not disappointed now we see it!
Now we have to admit we have always had a penchant for black garden buildings because they look dramatic in both a traditional and ultra modern garden, look great in both summer and winter, and are a wonderful backdrop for the flowers in your garden.
Smart are a Suffolk based business and have taken inspiration for this new range from their local vernacular – the Suffolk Barn, and they have replicated the features such as the weatherboarding well.
The Suffolk Barn Studio is a very solid looking garden building, and is well proportioned with two large opening casement windows and a fully glazed door which will flood the room with natural light. The high level porthole window is a lovely option.
As you can see from these images the detailing on the cladding is crisp – always a good sign of a quality build!
Like all Smart Modular Buildings the Suffolk Barn Studio is fully insulated, double glazed and electrically wired so is suitable for year round use.
Inside the Suffolk Barn features attractive beam detail, and these photos show the room kitted out with Smart’s new ‘Book Nook’ and a double boomerang Versa Desk system which just shows how two people can comfortably work in this size building.
The 4.3m x 3.2m studio shown in these images has a low roof line, less than 2.5m so seldom requires planning permission, there are five standard sizes in the range, and prices start at £10,985 plus VAT for a fully installed building.
Smart are specialists in garden offices, but this range could be used for anything from an artists studio to a home gym, or with the addition of the Book Nook a place to sit and read!
We feel sure this will be a popular range, and is a great addition to the Smart Modular Buildings range.
