We recently featured a two-bedroom granny annexe by Timeless Garden Rooms, that created a home for an older relative. This annexe has been designed around the needs of a younger relative. The family wanted to create a private space for their university student son, where he could study and entertain.
A quick look at the student den in the garden:
Timeless Garden Rooms Studio Range
They chose a mono-pitch building from Timeless Garden Rooms new Studio Range. The Studio Range has a more contemporary feel than the pitched roof garden rooms Timeless Garden Rooms are known for.
As standard, the Studio Range features feather edge Larch cladding and aluminium bi-fold doors, but the Timeless Garden Rooms team tell us customers can customise the finishes to their own tastes. For instance, with this project, the customers swapped the bi-fold doors for sliding doors and added a long window and a casement window to the specification.
Partition walls create three rooms
Timeless Garden Rooms customer chose a 6 meter wide by 3.5 meter deep building. The space was divided up to create three rooms: two living rooms and a shower room.
As part of the overall project, the Timeless Garden Rooms team handled all the groundworks and connected the electrics and plumbing to the mains supply.
They also handled the internal decoration of the rooms, including laying the laminate floor. As we can see, a light modern living space has been created.
