A garden office is a clever and cost effective way of increasing the living space of your house, as we have seen tonight on Sarah Beeny’s Double Your House For Half The Money.
The premise of the programme is that homeowners can increase the living space of their current home at a fraction of the cost of moving to a bigger house.
Homeowners Paul & Andrea were running out of space for their flourishing business, particularly with a second child on the way.
To create a dedicated workspace and to keep defined boundaries between work and home life they decided to install a garden office.
Paul & Andrea chose The Garden Office to build this for them.
They chose a 3.8m x 3.6m unit which features a glazed corner made up of a 2.4m sliding door set and a floor to ceiling window. The building is clad in western red cedar.
Paul & Andrea are delighted with their new workspace, separating work and home life with a 30 second commute.
This is not the first time The Garden Office has appeared on TV, last year they appeared in season two of Double Your House For Half The Money last year.
