We’ve written many times about garden rooms attached to the house creating a modern extension, but this is the first time we have seen a garden room extension on a garage.
Crusoe Garden Rooms were tasked with updating and extending an old garage. The Crusoe team have created a large garden room – 6m x 3m and have cleverly tied it into the existing garage structure.
By continuing the cedar cladding along the eaves of the garage the building looks as if it was designed as one building. We also like how the palette of materials have become features in themselves – for instance the way the existing brick wall has been framed by the cedar.
