Annexe Spaces have added zero maintenance exterior cladding to the palette of options available on their self-contained living annexes.
The Annexe Spaces team have been busying honing the options you can choose to customise your garden annexe. In addition to their current low maintenance cladding options of Western Red Cedar, Thermowood and polymer render, Annexe Spaces now offer zero maintenance cement fibre board cladding.
They have chosen a cement fibre board with a smooth finish, offering a more contemporary appearance than the wood grain finishes available. The cladding comes in a range of colours, which don't need painting to stay looking good, by choosing it, your annexe will look the same in the years to come as on day one.
Annexe Spaces mix the cement fibre board cladding with a cement-based material for the soffits, fascias and barge boards. This, when mixed with your choice of uPVC or powder-coated aluminium doors and windows, makes for a maintenance-free exterior.
Transparent Pricing
Knowing that buyers want to get an idea of price and options before they make formal contact, the Annexe Spaces team have created a series of pages on their website which give you clear pricing for different size annexes.
The pricing pages show the prices for different specifications and for both mono-pitched and dual pitched roof annexes. These pages really offer a lot of information, do take a look:
Annexe Spaces don't profess to be the cheapest self-contained annexe range on the market, but nor are they the most expensive. They do, however, offer a lot more in their base package than some of their competitors. Key items such as the kitchen and bathroom fittings are included in the base price. There are options to upgrade elements of the design, for instance, swapping the standard shower room for a wheelchair friendly wet room, if that is what you require.
Unlike some annexe companies, Annexe Spaces offer a turnkey service. They will work with you from design conception, via the planning application process right through to the final connections to the mains services.
It can be difficult to give an idea of the costs for the groundworks to connect a garden annexe to the mains services, without surveying the site. But, the Annexe Spaces team understand you want an idea of cost as you research your options, so have quoted the prices per linear meter. You will find this information towards the end of the page under the 'Site Specific Costs' tab.
If you are looking for a well-specified self-contained home in the garden, that will stand the test of time with little ongoing maintenance.
